Hint from the creator of this site: Each tool is centered around a java applet that is designed to give the user an interactive understanding of one or more concepts relevant to the grand question of the module. The tools are not arranged in any particular order. In fact you will probably find yourself switching back and forth between all of them in order to get a complete picture.
Hint about browsers:

This site will work properly only with NETSCAPE NAVIGATOR 4.0x

INCLUDING THE JDK 1.1 PATCH ON WINDOWS (95/NT)

If things just don't seem to work right, you should probably take a look at their TECHNICAL GUIDE

Strong hint: Although these tools are designed to be interactive, we strongly suggest that you keep a written log of your journey through the module. Write down the questions the module poses at different stages (usually in the HINT frame), and try to answer them on paper right away. If, after you explore the module some more, you change your mind, go back and write the new answer under the old one. This will help you anchor your new knowledge in a succession of thoughts, rather than have to remember it as an unconnected fact.

Hint about monitors:

Monitor resolution of 1024x768 or higher. Monitors with resolution lower than 1024x768 cannot display the entire page, resulting in extensive scrolling and frustrating performance. For more about monitors check out their TECHNICAL GUIDE.
